Completion of Tender Offer

It was announced today that the Tender Price was 171.7818 pence per Share. The Tender Offer has now been completed with a total of 7,276,574 shares repurchased by the Company for cancellation. Following settlement of the Tender Offer, which is expected to be made on 18 December 2007, 42,723,426 Shares will be in issue.
